Born in sunny California, Steve attended San Diego State (Go Aztecs!) and had plans to become a teacher - can you say "Good Grades Man"???
Now here comes the part where he was a struggling performer waiting tables to make ends meet right? WRONG! Our golden boy from the Golden State was hired that first night and a mere month later, got a contract for the summer in Catalina Island. Now, there's a bad turn of events right? Nope, things just kept rolling for Steve and he spent the next 6 winters in Mammoth, California in 1980, and a couple more summers in Catalina. Then it was down to the Virgin Islands for a summer in St. Croix , 2 summers in Boulder, Colorado, a few gigs in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe and then spent another couple of summers in Vail, Colorado.
Ah, Vail, don't know if it was the snow or the snow bunnies, but the Good Times Man finally decided to make a commitment of sorts (more on that later), and, since 1986, has been performing at "The Club", which is THE place to be in Vail. Steve won Budweiser's entertainer of the year award for decades in Vail Colorado.
Steve has produced 9 CDs and has had several regional hits. He is currently back to song writing and producing new songs. One of his new songs "Tell me Why" has received rave reviews and the music video can be viewed on You Tube.
Another new release "Wouldn't Change a thing" is starting to pick up airplay around the country and shows signs of being a national hit.
You've got to see his show, and bring a camera - 'cuz your friends won't believe the stories without proof!
Well, Steve never got that teaching degree, but over the last 28 years as a professional entertainer, he's taught a whole lot of people in Vail how to PARTY!
Now, if you're thinking that things just can't get any better for Steve, once again you'd be wrong. As if winters at a ski resort in Colorado aren't enough, he spends the rest of the year in Hawaii! Yep, got a big 'ol house right on the beach. If you're ever in the town of Captain Cook, just ask for the Big Kahuna, they'll know who you're talking about.
Are you wondering what a guy like this does for relaxation? Just the usual: Partying, scuba diving, skiing, boating, fishing, mountain biking, ocean kayaking, and jacuzzi-ing, sometimes all in one day!
Steve spends most of his time in Hawaii, Vail and Cabo San Luca's and will be doing special shows in 2009 in Las Vegas, Chicago, Hawaii and Cabo.
